Technical department
Each mould from STEELFORM is a unique creation, with its own story and particular history from design to manufacturing. All components of the technical department are capable of working to the customers plans, working alongside them in order to optimise the conception and development of the project. The continual updating of the computer systems, the availability of CAD CAM CAE software, the adoption of innovative computer applications for reverse engineering, prototyping and analysis of the production process allow the identification of the best customised solutions. Our expertise permits the analysis of the properties of the item to be created, recommending the correct solutions, based on the specific mechanical, aesthetic and functional characteristics for the creation of the product. This allows the identification of the most suitable plastic, the correct proportioning of thicknesses and drafts, the correct positioning of the injection point, together with alternative proposals which may simplify the execution of the mould and hence the relevant costs. We provide active support up to the early stages of the creation of the product. We make our experience available to the customer, from the creation of mathematical forms, to the selection of those plastics most suitable for best results.
